Default what type of engine

what type of engine is in a stock 96 accord ..i know it is a non v tec..would it be the f 22? and if so,,is it worth it to do a mini me onto it with a h 22 head?

engine - F22B2 - as far as h22 head, probably not. since you know about it i'm assuming you know that you pretty much need an h22 to start out with for all the misc. parts it will require. plus, the main reason people do this is for turbocharger applications.

do you guys know what you are talking about?... i don't think so...his F22 is single is it not? and an H22 is DUAL. 1+2 DOES NOT equal mini me. turbocharger apps? it's not worth it IMO. get an H22.

yes, i do know. yes f22 is single cam. yes h22 is dual cam. yes they can be mated together(hseries head, fseries block. turbo situation because of iron sleeves and low compression ratio with stock pistons.

bottom end is not going to provide that much power for that head though... might as well just port and polish your f22 head.

yall are talking out of you ***...run a search of a thread on this in the prelude forum....f22b2 block + h22a head + turbo = maaad power (w/ teh real vtec)
