Default Does Anybody know????

I am doing a swap tomorrow I just have a few concerns and questions that hopefully people can help. all the posts possible please I want everyones opinions good or bad. I have a 96 civic ex and I am doing a swap with a 97 integra ls b18b. I got a 94 delsol b16a tranny and am putting on an act street clutch. I have everything needed for the swap axles, ecu, shiftlinkage, 00 si engine mounts, powersteering pump, etc. My sohc vtec had some knockin in it so I just pulled it out didn't even bother checking the problem. Gonna tear it apart to see what the problem was and probably part it out so if anyone is interested in anything from it let me know. But I already have Greddy PE cat back and AEM CAI and I was wondering how those two things are going to line up with everything in the ls engine. does the stock ls exhaust manifold line up with the current cat? and I am pretty sure the CAI lines up alright. I just gotta clean my filter since I haven't cleaned it in like 2 years haha. I am just wondering if anyone else out there has this setup or similar and how you like it I would like everyone to post if they are happy with their swap or not. Also if anyone has done this swap themselves and what problems you encountered or I might encounter. I am keeping everything this way for right now but in the future probably just a turbo kit with like 8lbs of boost or ls/vtec most likely just the turbo though. Also is there a different bracket for the b16a tranny to fit on the ls block? and do I use the same belts as the stock ls engine would use and do I have to rewire anything I am using the civic wiring harness but the ls ecu. I thought i saw something that you have to change one of the plugs on something. Please help me I want this damn car back I am sick of driving my fathers american car!!!!

since you have all the parts it should be a clean install...just transfer your old harness to the LS, it should all bolt up, since both are obdII....as far as tranny, good choice, it should all bolt up...

as far the exhaust with the header, ls is the same lenght as the EX, also the intake will work, some minor adjustment ....

just enjoy, take it easy...hope for the best....good luck

aight heres the deal...im doing almost the same thing as u but I am using a cx wiring harness......I dont know what u need to do with teh extra vtec ****..Id just let it hang

There will be 3 things u need to wire up...

The crank angel sensor--there will be 3 wires on the civic harness and 2 wires on the integra. The brown one is a ground so just tape that off and connect the other two to the same colors

There is also a sensor on the back of the intake manifold--just like the other sensor 3 into 2--for that one I omitted the orange wire and connected the other 2 wires by color

There is gonna be a wire in a runner on the front of the intake manifold that u will have to wire up....There is 2 wires on both clips but they are different colors...I just connected the yellow/red and red/yellow together and the other one

I dont know if this info is correct because I will be putting my motor in the car in about 2 days..I just wired it up now....I believe thats how everytrhing works....I hope this helps and after u do it tell me if I was right..or if anything was different so I can fix what I am doing
