Im having problem taking off, it bogs while taking off and then gets power after a few seconds..

my setup:
d16z6
z6 manifold
dc header
obd-0
pm6 ecu

im running a 91 dx tranny, and my car is an 88 civic hb.

What can be making it bog?

 

Usually fuel .... too much or too little. Looks like from your sig and postings you have some experience, so I guess check fuel pressure?

check spark plugs and plug wires

 

check the ignition timing and cam timing. any codes?

 

gas running rich ? hell even if i know ...but bump bec i wanna know for future ref

 

It defiantly sounds to be an electrical issue. Doesn't this happen when a TPS is bad?

i had the same problem on my da. it was cuz i had a bad cat. does ur cat rattle or anything, does it get like red hot or smell like sulfer?
