That's a question I'd like to know the answer too also. I wouldn't think that it would seeing as it's a different series of engine, but I could be totally off.

prototype racing ( http://www.prototyperacing.com ) made a one-off modified bell housing for a f20c (s2000) motor to accept a K-series tranny so I think it might be possible to do it the other way around.

I think just to do that would cost anywhere from $5000-$10,000+ - this does not include drivetrain that would be needed, custom mounts etc...I think you could find better more effective ways to spend your money

What doesn't match up? The blocks both have the same casting

There is no real reason for tying to mate the two, IMO...

The K20 doesnt need a rwd tranny... just use the F20C, and the F20 sure as hell doesnt need to be in a fwd car, just use a K20.

Hondas are like Legos, and some kids always wanna show off their freakish creations with different "non-comlpiant" legos.

i don't think u understand, i would like to use the k20 in a rwd app such as in an s2000, due to the fact the k series is a far greater engine

I would guess that it would bolt to a K motor block without much issue. Mugen uses a f20 head on a k20 block for their F3000 motor so I would think that other drivetrain parts would be compatible as well.

The s2000 is the highest hp stock n/a four cylinder with a fatty warranty.

How would the k series benefit in a S2000?

the s2000 lacks in mid range power and in ablity to gain power from mods because the motor is already perfect

exactly as he said. Its hard to gain anything from the S2k motor because its pretty much reached its potential when built. Thats why when people are super charging those turds they gain a bunch of hp but dont get much faster down the track. same with the mustang GT...people super charge those and dont get much but the V6 stang gets super charged and it turns into some kinda wicked beast. Every motor has a potential on a build depending on part you use or strnghts of those parts...im sure if you did some really really heavy mods then super charged a s2k then ud pick up alot better of gains but thats pretty much a drag motor..
