Default 92-95 clutch into a 96 tranny?

Well i just purchased a 92-95 Exedy clutch, thinking that I was going to get a 92-95 d16z6 tranny. Well, i got a 96 tranny now, and I am wondering if the 95 exedy clutch will work with the 96 tranny? Oh and is the 96 d16 tranny any better then the 95? Thanks

yes the D16Y8 tranny has a stronger shifter fork... I believe they should be able to use the same clutch, not 100% sure though...

Your clutch doesn't attach to the tranny, and they use the same clutch for the 92-00 Civic anyway.
