alot of people like the nitto drag radial because it dose not require quite as much heat to get traction, but there are also quite a few guys out there that swear by the bfg and new mickey thomplson tire. Personally Ive only had a chance to try the nitto and hooked real well, but the only thing I really have to compare it to is a regular street tire.

Alot of the drag radials are great i have ran on A008 dont know if they make them anymore i have ran on nitto 555r also the mickeys the mickeys wore down quick though they had a really soft compound. I also hear great things about BFG's. So to say which tire is better i havent the slightest clue it would all depend what you had the best luck with . try to find someone with these tires listed above and try them for yourself. Alot of people here on H-T have good input. good luck!!

1.9s here with the nitto 555rs and my car weighs over 2300lbs

i tried the bfg's and didnt like them at all, all they did was wheel hop....maybe i didnt heat them up enough or low the psi enough but all i know is that i love my nittos

4k street driven miles and 20 passes down the track and their still at 50% tread
