I am worried about my ITR. I took her in to get a couple door dings, and scratches fixed at a body shop. The shop was recomended by several people to me. I just can't stop thinking horrible thoughts. It was supposed to have been ready last Friday. When I called on Friday they told me it would be the middle of this week. Now I called today, and the owner told me his paint booth is broken, and didn't know when my car would be finished. How in the hell can a paint booth break? All you have is lights, fans, and filters right? I tried to make it up there before they closed, but didn't make it in time. I didn't see my car either. I have been having nightmares about them swaping my motor out. In another they are taking it for a beat ride and fix all the panels, so I don't know about it. Hopefully they didn't give it out to someone else to drive while they fixed their car. If my odometer has more than 5 tenths of a mile on it I am going to be pissed. I hope like hell no one has been smoking in it either. I will be so glad when I get my ITR back.

 

hmm... what shop did you take your car to? Body Pros?

kinda sounds like they fucked it up somehow, thats what happen when this shop in NoVA totalled my friends z32..they gave him the runnin around for 3 weeks, finally he just went there one night and saw that it had been totalled, and that they were trying to fix it

 

true, screw phone calls, id goto see it in person

 

why dont you stop whinning like a bitch .. and go down there and see if the car is ok or still there....ever think of that....and I would tell the body shop to take like 15-20 percent off for the delayed time.

I did go down there twice, but they were closed. The Germans quit working at 3:30. I don't know how they ever get anything done.

i say you schedule to go down to the shop when they are in operation. then, see for sure what's up.

Exactly, take the tampon out of your ***, go down there and raise some hell. The last thing I'd be doing if my R was being fucked with is cry about it on the internet. Not trying to be a dick but we're all grown adults here.

Back to the post. I went there this morning and checked it out. I saw the car and everything is fine. Actually they are fixing some other minor scratches as well. It looks like they are hooking me up pretty good.

German companies are way different than American. They don't give a crap. The costumer is always wrong. No such thing as costumer service. I don't understand how they stay in business? I thought they were just rude to Americans, but that doesn't seem to be the case. You don't have much rights here either. That is one of the reasons my car is in the damn shop. The Police took a dog through/on my car. Jumped in the back while getting traction on my bumper. The officer was knocking on my body panels to get the dog to sniff them. Then He had the dog jump up on my front bumper to sniff my air cleaner. I was seeing white that night. I hope that I never have to experience that again.

 

def get down there tomorrow and find out what the hold up is. And yea you better get alot of money off for the delay.

The last thing I'd do is cry about my poor lil car over the internet to a bunch of grown adults. Wow, come to think of it, that kinda sounds like............YOU!

 

My car is back in the body shop again and im always there checking on my car..and i trust my car there as well. i love the update pics...but just show up..never let them know. thats what i do. i just roll up whenever i want.

 

I always take a picture of my car and speedometer before bringing it into the shop. I also make sure that they see me do so, so they will think twice about messing with my car.

Give the guy a break guys, he works like most here. If a business closes at 3:30, I highly doubt that even you can get there in time before it closes.

 

that sucks i didnt know they're german..most shops around here offer us free stuff if they give us a date and wen we go pick it up and there not done yet

Looking at your profile I see that you are only 21. More than likely Mommy and daddy helped you with your car, and pay your insurance. You probably wouldn't cry about it on the internet, seeing how you more than likely didn't work to hard for it. I could be wrong, but I doubt it.
