ECU.... Help.
I'm doing a Mini me swap in a 90 crx si soon and i don't know what type of ECU to get. My buddy of mine is telling me to go Pr3 cause it's easy to wire. I have a A6 block with a Y8 Head getting ready to be slapped in. Any help and Advice is mostly appreciated.
And if you can please post info such as redline and vtec activation with each Ecu please. thanx.

the best would be to convert to OBD-I and use a p28 ecu which is designed to be used with the sohc vtec motors. redline 7200 and auto vtec activation.
if not, then use a pm6 (crx si) which you have so just keep it and use a rpm activation switch for vtec. stock redline
or use a pg7 from a 89 or so integra and same switch type vtec activation. this will give you a little higher redline than pm6 and better fuel and ignition curves.
if you use the pr3, you have to install another O2 sensor in your exhaust and i believe there is more wiring involved than you might like to get involved in.
EDIT: just saw that you are in orlando, if you need help pm me. i have the full sohc vtec swap and can prob answer any question you might have. good luck

it will work, there are people running it. throws codes like a mother though and you have to run 2 O2 sensors. only reason to run it is to stay OBD-0 and have vtec activation by ecu. if you ask me though, not the best way to go by far.
