Default Another "Whats it worth" thread...

Quick question for you guys...
A good friend of mine came upon some money and made me a cash offer on my car I may not be able to refuse. Before I accept I wanted to get a rough street price(I know it depends on finding the right buyer, and I did)...
The basics of the car:
-2001 ITR, NBP, 25000 miles
-Perfect Exterior, 100% stock
-Perfect Interior, 100% stock
-runs great, reliable, I'd never hesitate to drive it daily if needed
-Full custom turbo kit, all done "right", Hondata, 422whp & 293 Tq
-New Falken Azenis, brand new OEM floormats, 15% tint all around

Whats is worth roughly guys? Thanks a lot for any input you may have.
Mark

since it's a 01, and it's turbo, maybe low or mid 20's .... ask Rob aka bbasso.. he'll have a better say on this matter

What its worth and what your willing to sell for will always be 2 completely different things unfortunately. Sounds like you have a very very nice R and if i were you with condition its in and $$$ sunk in to the kit i would not sell for less then 23-24k. If he is offering less then that tell him to stick it....you will find a buyer who will pay your price. It may not be immediately but you will. Pete username itr206 got what he wanted....and you can too. Dont settle for less b/c you have a quick sale....end of story

That sounds about the same as itr206.
Yours is low mileage, that's good.

He was looking to get $25k. (EDIT: But he had about $20K dumped into the motor!!! Selling a turbo Honda is never a good way to make money.)

when you say "done right" is it safe to assume that its sleeved with aftermarket crank and rods and pistons? if so I believe that $24,000 is not out of line. remember its worth
different amounts to different people. I would pay $24,000 for a low milage "done right" turbo car. but hey thats me!

He backed out last minute and bought a BMW 528i. He did lowball me at 1st but the tentative deal we had was $18,500 cash, then monthly payments that brought the total to $20,000. He's an old friend and a roommate so I knew he was good for it.
Thanks a lot.
