Default What are the differences between D16Z6 and SOHC ZC engines

I tried doing a search but couldn't find anything. But I spun a bearing on my D series engine and I bought a new one(40-50k miles) from nippon-motors.com and they are selling me the SOCH ZC engine. They say to just swap the intake manifold and it'll be smog legal. What other differences are there between these 2 engines. Also how hard to you think it would be to smog it? Any info on this would be greatly appriciated.
