it's so sad :(
i got my 2004 base rsx about 9 months ago, and i love it! i've been into hondas for about 3 years, always reading up on the ht forums and dreaming about owning a gsr. my wonderful mom bought me a brand spankin' new rsx instead :D my friends all had their hondas (accord and boosted civic). they've run into so many problems it made me change my mind about modding and tuning my car. i enjoy riding stock. the rsx is a great car... maybe i'll just save up for a g35 (or whatever).
what do you think? any comments and personal thoughts?

ofcourse if you boost it, it will increase the tear and wear. honda are not made for you to boost like what your friends are doing unless they rebuild the engine then that will be a different story. stay N/A and you wont have more problem than your boosted friends.
If you wanna boost you rsx start rebuilding the engine from forge pistons ,piston rings, sleeve, aftermarket radiator, mugen thermostat, mugen radiator cap and MORE.

modding cars is a hobby, you either do it or stay in the safe not do anything. base mods like exhaust or intake, headers and other little mods is not gonna kills the reliabilties of the car. so go have fun and just do some basic mods.
I agree and disagree, I use to have a Honda SiR and it was pretty much stock.. I mean a few changes and there. But i think leaving a car stock would be too boring. Like the other 2 replies said, if your moding the car .. you better have done it right. Anyways my 2 cents.. RSX vengeance said pretty much what im talking about.

If you do I/H/E and hondata like Kal was talkin you'll actually be pushin just as much, if not more, hp at the wheels then a stock type s. With what you said, thats like sayin ep owners cant have fun. A3 is still a fun motor to drive with. Just the opinion though of a guy who likes to root for underdog

it's weird. i always wanted to kill people on the streets with my honda, but now that i have my car, i find that i hate street racing. it's just waaay too unsafe. even still, i can drop my car and make it sound nice. but that was one of my teenage dreams. i hope i can come back to this wonderful hobby.
i'm sorry ht members. i think i will keep my rsx stock and enjoy it. i <3 my honda!
have fun everyone and thanks for all the support!
