Default JDM Front

Just been wondering, with all the crazy money people have been paying the last few years for JDM parts on ebay and such, how much my brand new never mounted, never painted, 100 percent mint JDM front bumper with equally new and mint turn signals would be worth. I know alot of bumpers people get from importers can be scratched or cracked, also people seem to pay 550 bucks for a bumper pole, 700 dollars for new USDM fogs, 300 for used JDM ones, what would you say was the value of this piece. People who are going to say something stupid or "ill give u 150 bucks for it yO" need not reply, thx

It's worth whatever you paid for them. I'd think that if you know how to buy new parts from overseas etc. payment, shipment etc. you'd rather share the love for those who have beat up bumpers rather than seem like you're hinting that you're selling it?

CRX, only the bumper, having a whole new front end would be almost impossible to find lol

what the **** are you talking about??? The JDM crx's have 3 different front ends technically. The one that came on the 1.5L model is the same as the US crx. Then there is a ZC dohc model crx that had basically the same as a US but with a hood with a bump near the cam gears and then the SiR model with the hood which bumps up instead of down, has longer headlights and a different front bumper with wrap around bumper lenses.....

Here is the jdm SiR front end. No such thing as an SiR bumper??? hmm

Ill trade you a 1984 GMC pick up that runs and everything just needs a new battery for the front end. Im 100% serious. The truck is worth like $750 - $900 but I just dont have the effort or money to put it in the trader.

Or I can trade you a brand new never used set of Continental winter tires. I paid $600 for them they are 15" but were going to go on my sister's golf but the rims wont fit over the disc brakes.

dont forget about the plastic single socket headlights and corner lenses that don't have the amber color or reflectors.

and its the Si model.

I remember who you are that is why I was offering such a great deal to you on those trades but thats ok if you dont want to trade.

Ill clear up the whole 1.5L JDM CRX vs SiR JDM CRX front end stuff too for you all.

In Japan the 1.5L Carbed - SiR CRX all had the same front end. I know this becuase I have seen the front clips in a local shop with both engines in them. All those fronts came from Japan. To my understanding in Eurpoe all CRXs other than the SiRs had the USDM style front end and the SiRs had the JDM front ends. Possibly something to do with the engines but Im not 100% sure or not about that.

I checked this all out like 2 years ago when I was on a few sites in England and Japan looking for a JDM front end conversion. So you are both right.

Actually, I will close this argument. After about 15 minutes of research I have found that the ONLY 1.5x model CRX's to get the SiR style front end was the 1992 model which was the last year it was made. 88-91 CRX 1.5x models had the same front end as the US model. If you don't believe me, then call honda of japan and complain. Here is the link to the honda.co.jp website that confirms what each model looked like, the 1.5x, Si and SiR.

the first one I cant prove, although that license plate is European union, many Japanese cars get imported to the UK, the second one is a UK 1991 1.6i 16valve and not a JDM CRX, also look at the plate, that guys on the Uk forum, his name is

Paul Lennox - Poole, Dorset

1991 1.6i 16v

thx for the link, I have the book that contains all that stuff.
