Default Valve adjustment help needed...

From what I've researched, intake is anywhere between .07-.09 and exhaust is .08 to .10

Can anyone verify which one is correct? Thanks!

Factory spec for the B18C1/5 and B16A is:
Intake: 0.006"-0.007"
Exhaust: 0.007"-0.008"

exactly.

Don't **** with trying to go too tight with the spec. I tried it, and ended up having a really shitty idle (poor vacuum), I went with 7/8 and it smoothed right out (better vacuum)

I always use .006 intake and .007 exhaust. Engine idles perfectly.

Open your hood and read the specs posted on the underside, it clearly states the clearance tolerance.

Same here, and have never had any problems, i make sure the .006 goes in with some drag, and the .007 doesnt fit at all, the same with the exhaust side .007 with some drag, and .008 doesnt fit at all.

That netted me about 10 psi in each cylinder when comparing a previous compression test, to the one i did after the valve adjustment.
