What type of fabric is found on the JDM seats?
I took a picture of my rear seats:

It's a pretty crappy picture (1mp camera phone!! hah).
The only thing i can think of is tweed, seen in this pic taken from a few threads down:

Does anyone know what type of fabric makes up the outer bolsters?

Off-tweed aye? New term learned tonight, will bring it with me to the upholstery shop. Thank you!

I said 'off' tweed meaning it's like a faux tweed. It's not a TRUE tweed, but it's closer to being a tweed than it is any other fabric... and I'm near positive that you won't be able to match it through an aftermarket vendor.

Well, it doesn't matter so much that i replicate the exact look of the jdm material, i just needed the right sorta texture. The front seats will be black/gray Torinos, so i'm not even sure what material to use so that the front and rear jive.

Why not just get both F & R reupholstered at the same time?

It'd be the equivalent of getting suede on Recaro's recovered, something completely pointless if you ever want to sell your seats in the future.

I'm 99% sure Sparco sells fabric by itself. Just get your rears covered to match the front!
