Default Swapping out engine harness from Crx Si to Integra GSR

Hey guys. I'm getting back into the honda market and have a few questions about the CRX. I picked up a 88 Si and i'm wondering if i could basically take out the whole engine harness and replace it with a OBD-1 Integra harness with no problem. Since i'll be dropping in a b-series motor.

Do i have to redo the gauge cluster wiring? Anyone have any info on this. Thanks.

To make this work successfully as in plug and play you would also need the Integra interior harness. It would be easier to purchase or construct a Jumper Harness -- OBD-0 --> OBD-1 -- but swapping over the whole wiring has been done before.

I did the whole wire harness swap with the main harness and engine harness it looks stock no cut wires or patched **** at all. it's more trouble, but better looking and much easier to trace any problems down later on.

cool. Thanks guys for the response.

I was just looking through the interior harness on the car, and it seems some connectors have been completely cut off. So it might be easier for me just to switch completely to a integra harness.

So i would basically need the engine harness and interior harness?

the basic rule of swapping is to modify the harness currently in the car (that came w/ it from the dealer) to work w/ the new motor.. by replacing plugs, adding wires and what not.

crx_88_si - ya, keep it simple. But i was thinking of completely swapping out the harness, so basically it'll be a whole complete gsr engine/harness/wiring in a crx shell

Its about a 1000000 times easier to just transfer over the si engine harness to the gsr motor and then add your two vtec plugs, iab plug, knock sensor plug, and your 4 wire 02 sensor then get the obd0-obd1 conv. harness, plug in a obd1 p72 ecu and your basically done
