i am swaping a obd1 motor into a 91 accord it is a automatic and so is the donor motor and tranny which is a jdm swap. we want to use the jdm auto tranny but it did not come with the TCU. do i need this to use the jdm tcu? and or will i get the use of the jdm tranny wth useing the jdm tcu.

sorry and the motor is a jdm h22 vtec auto tranny came with it.

What engine are you swapping in?

If it is an H22, I would recommend locating and using the JDM P13 TCM. It will plug and play, the only thing that won't work correctly is the shift lock release solenoid.
