Fuel leak from bottom of charcoal canister.
Sometimes periodically fuel dripps out of the bottom of my canister. Only sometimes though. Gas cap is tight. When i do fill up with gas when i remove the cap it makes a sucking in noise.
All my vacume lines are hooked up right. Is there some way i can bypass this or something, i know it isnt dangerous because its leaking where it wont touch nothing hot.
Any idea's? Time for a new canister?

that's no good. Fuel should NOT be dripping from your canister, because only vapors are supposed to pass through there.
Make sure it is actually coming from there, because my guess is its seaping through somewhere else.

Yes i filled it up to the top the night before. It is right full. Should i just fill 3/4 of the way?
Maybe the canister is malfunctioned and the vapour is condensing instead of beind burned (pluged up?) and just going out the orange hose on the bottom that goes into the frame rail.
It stopped. Regardless i eliminated it. I bought some fuel line and routed it so it sticks out the side of my hood, (clear line) and i pluged the other 2 vacume ports. Runs the same. And fuel isnt comming out of my 'vent' if you smell it, you can smell very very faint fuel vapours.
The car has no AC. Plus its time for heat
The tank is farily new, and the leak is most definately comming from the orange hose on the bottom, everywhere else is BONE dry, and when the fuel leaks, i dont any fuel pressure.
Whats the deal with filling the tank right up?

Why?
Why?
While my plastic 'vent' tube that i ran over and exited where the edge of the hood meets the fender seems to be working.
Sorta..
Today i was driving home and gas started to kinda sprit out of there every few seconds. Then i stopped, got out, still doing it. Opened my gas cap and it sucked in alot of air.. Seems like my gas tank isnt venting.
Are there any other gas tank vents? Or whats the deal here. I dont want to have to stop and open my gas cap all the time.

Why?</TD></TR></TABLE>
Your never suppose to fill your tank up all the way, unless your gonna drive the car right after wards for a good period of time, reason being is because at the top of the gas tank there is suppose to be an area where fuel is never suppose to reach. This area is basically for the fuel vapors, or the expansion of fuel. Anyways if you fill it up to much, the gas is gonna start going to places you don't want it to be. Therefore the gas is going to your charcoal canister, once this happens the charcoal canister is ruined.

how long does it stay too high for? Could this be the reason why it was leaking and such, also why when i open my gas cap a large amount of air gets stucked in?

It will stay that high until you burn off the gas, and are you sure your sucking in air ? More then likely air is being pushed out, which is normal.

There is pressure in the tank, you filled the tank up to much, the pressure is causing the gas to go into the charcoal canister. When you release the gap, pressure is released and the gas will flow back to the gas tank.
