Hey guys, My cousin just bought a new car and gave me her old car. Its a 91 4dr AT lx with about 150000 miles. The only problems it has right now is a dead alternator, a leaking master brake cylinder, and faded paint? What do you guys think i should do with it? fix the problems and sell it? give it to charity? keep it as a daily driver?

 

Clean it up and sell it, use that money for a turbo.

 

IMO keep it for a daily driver ..

unless you dont ever plan on having any down time on youre daily driver then sell it other wise fix and have peace of mind..

 

yea... seems like the plan is to fix it and sell it... I dont do much with my other car besides drive to school, so it already takes the duty of being my daily driver...

The plan

-change the alternator and master cylinder
-rebleed breaks
-clean up the interior
-change motor and tranny oil
-change belts

maybe even prep the car and take it into macco for a cheap black paint job?

Lemme know how that sounds guys...
just wanna fix it enough to bring up the value of the car and make a decent profit

 

i would keep it as a backup car, wgich gives you room to heavily mod your other car and not worry about transportation.
