Part Identification need your guys help!
I went to honda and ask for a piece for a crx, this said the piece only comes off an EF civic and its called upper reinforcement. Heres the description it runs along the top of the bumper and goes from headlights to headlight its just below the headlights. Is this also called a rad support by chance? I called a used parts shop and they said it sounds like a rad support anyone have any ideas?

no it is not painted it is metal. I think what your refering too in the parts picture is the bumper (not bumper cover). It outlines the headlights and the piece is under the headlights sorta i'll try and take a pic of my friends crx tommorow hopefully it will help.
It looks like number 10 in the parts diagram above whats that piece called?

If #10 is what you are talking about then that's the piece that is part of what holds the bumper to the bumper support or whatever. I think at least.
#9 looks like the front bumper support. That's actually your bumper.
#20 looks like the Styrofoam piece the makes the bumperskin fit correctly on the bumper
If your speaking of the filler piece between the bumper and front lip of hood and runs under the headlights. Civic it is a seperate piece, on a CRX its molded into the bumper.
how about # 1 in this pic. I think your pic is from a CRX so it not there

I think the front of the crx was smashed and he replaced it with a civic front so that "Civic it is a seperate piece" might be the piece i'm looking for. Also that piece you said on crx is molded into the bumper is that on all models or only on 90+ cuz his a 89 SI. Also number 1 looks nothing like the piece i need. It looks very similar to piece 10. Anyone know what piece 10 is called?

yeah noticed that....it was the price list but part # 10 wasn't listed....I'd check http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com but I personally think #10 us a mounting bracket of some sort

Is this a CRX? What is with the acura sign?

Some dude stolen his sign and didn't want to get any water or crap in the holes so he temporarily has a sign there before the bodyshop seals it up. Anyways that's not important anyone know what the piece is?
If it's a CRX, then the piece you might be referring to is under the bumer, it's part of the bumper reinforcement. The part the Honda Parts Dept. may have thought you referring to was the upper filler piece. This piece IS only on EF civic's and runs under the headlights all the way around just above the front bumper. I'll have to look closer at my catalog tomorrow at work...
Please feel free to give me a call if you would like, I'm more than happy to help out. I've had my CRX apart so many times, I've learned quite a bit about them...but sometimes it's hard to describe.
My best guess would be that he's referring to #10 on the CRX parts pic
