If you cared you'd be in your garage figuring out why it doesn't fit anymore. But enough bickering....Just try and use delicate hands when putting it back in. If it doesn't fit try something else.....that's all i can think of.....Remember we are all honda dudes/bros/homies/chicks/ badass people. So good luck with your console....
Also try and move around the WHole A/c control unit it might have slid around whne you took the console off, check for some loose screws....

x2! It took me 15 minutes one time to realize that my damn glove box was closed!! Somehow, I must have forgotten that there was even a tab up there. Not one of my finer moments!!
Anyway, there's a little bit of a lip along the bottom of the a/c panel (aka heater control unit) and the black cross piece on the console goes over it, but the very top edge of the console tucks under the heater vents.
Just be darn careful with that heater control unit, unless you have an extra $100+ to replace it when you crack it in half!

Put the car in 4th gear...then slide the shifter up the boot first...then push down on the console... bend it a bit (it wont break) .
