main cap bolts??
ok I just got my block back from the machine shop and when the did the bore and hone I had them use the stock main bolts. Now I want to put some AEBS ones in and I know they have a diffrent tq spec will this affect anything when using the after market bolts???
All you did was bore and hone? If so i do not believe it would mess ne thing up. If you line bored or something else like that then it might but i do not believe so. I would use them. BTW how much did those cost?
fi you change the main bolts to higher torque ones; its most likely gonna egg shape the mains so you gonna have to get them line bored. Or you might be lucky and be able to get away with it.

If it has different torque specs it could be because its a different material and it streches differently so they change the torque specs to make up for it. I would talk to AEBS about it
