Pace setter Products
Just wanted to know what you guys think about Pace setter products, thought about getting exhaust and headers. anyone know how they sound, made/quality, and any other info
My friend has a pacesetter cat-back on his '90 accord EX. It is VERY loud, and doesn't sound too good. I've heard before that they dont last too long, but it's been on his car at least 4-5 years, maybe longer, without a problem.
The only Pacesetter products I've heard of are their cat-backs and headers. In my opinion, the quality of these products are on par with OBX and APC (In other words, not that great).
Sure, their cat-backs are priced well under other systems (I think I've seen Summit carry them for just over $100), but the quality is just crap. Hell, the tip looks ugly as ****.
Then there are the headers. Their basic headers are no better than a stock one, but they also have a "Tork-step" version (I think that's what it's called) that has wider piping, and for some reason it's shipped in a protective blue paint. However, I researched these before when I was finding which header to go with, and I just found several instances where the headers had cracked.
In my opinion, Pacesetter =
