Default SOHC zc?

First, I'm not looking to make my crx fast, but I need some help on what to get. I want a zc motor, but I want to use my factory hf tranny. What about SOHC zc, is it just as good as the DOHC(quality), but with less power and will it work with my tranny? What ecu do I need for this process and will I need a wiring harness?

It is basically just a d16 motor with higher compression and slightly more aggressive cam

Well, first off, get rid of the HF tranny, no motor swap gonna be able to over that long legged gearing.

I would just get a 89-91 Si motor/tranny/ecu and be done.
