Sup everybody,
I was thinking about selling my 2001 Prelude and getting something alot cheaper.
I'm gonna be paying for this used car with cash. Now if I should decide to swap another motor in there in the future what kind of motor should I get?
I want to get a 4G (90-91) CRX or hatch OR If I can find a 5G (92-95) hatch for less than $4000 i will consider that too. I have looked at the engines that I would want to swap:
-B18C5 (do USDM's come in OBD 1 or only OBD 2?)
-B18C1 (prefer OBD 1)
-B16 (99-00 Civic Si)
-any other suggestions?
What is a good "ball-park" price for each of those installs with EVERYTHING that you need? I probably won't be able to DIY cause I dont have a garage, car or engine lift. So the work will probably have to be done by a shop, probably around the San Francisco/Sacramento Area
