where can i get the blacked out door trim around the windows (instead of the chrome)

is there a JDM part for this or painting is the only way?

 

you can buy them from the dealership, dx model is equiped with black trim. it cost me around 240$ for all of them on my sedan. dont bother trying to take yours off to paint them either, youll break all the clips. if you want to paint them you have to do it on the car.

 

i guess thats the only way to go.

Ill ask around if i can get the trims cheaper otherwise paintg is the only way

I've seen people put black electrical tape over their moldings, but that is

I think really the only option is to go to the dealership and get the DX molding.

 

they have a lil tool that you can get at a parts store to remove those lil clips without breakin them. my in-law has a set ill ask him the exact name.

I have the chrome ones and need new chrome ones as I hit the top of the garage when I had a bike rack with bikes in it and it bent them a little bit. Not to bad but I notice it. It also put 2 dents in the roof but also not to bad but then the car somehow got a few dings on the side and the hood and truck have what appears to be hail damage so I really need these and to get dents out and then paint the car but I don't want to pay for all that so I probably will just leave it like it is. It is in better shape still than a lot I have seen.
