What is the largest engine you can put in a 1988 crx?

I was tols it is a 2.2 litre acura. Thanks for the advice.

well, there is the opne or two CRX's that are powered by at least a 302, but that was a custom jobber. Otherwise bore out a 2.2L and you can go a lil bigger.

Grassroots motor sports had one with a checy 350 in it, and they did it for under $2004.00

hey i saw a k20a in a crx ran 11.33 stock motor on itbs

probably be able to fit a couple 350's in there if you pull out the seats and such.

biggest id want would be a k24 maybe.

I want to stick with a four cylinder and turbocharge it.I should have been more specific and state biggest four cylinder.The car has a 1.8 with a home made turbo system on it now.I am buying it in the next few weeks.

Some kid in NJ put a v6 from a legend in a CRX..
Waste of time,hacking,, and money..
The biggest I would do is H22..
None of this k20 BS..The oil pan sits way to low for my comfort..

Is he on this site? I knew someone had to put a V-6 in another car besides accords/legends and such,

there was a crx that had a big block chevy in the back, and had the stock engine in the front.

All the work was done at "Top secret" in newark..

Wasn't that CRX a 1st gen, and the V-6 came out of the 1st gen Legend too (2.7L V6)?

nah it was an 88 HF..and the motor was from a 91 legend with a 3.2 V6...

There is one of these by me in NY 350 in the back with the stock motor in the front drives on the stock one and races on the back
