Has anybody ever had anyproblems with there door looks stop working. I have been noticing for about a month that they would sometimes work and sometimes they wouldnt. Now they dont work at all. I have checked all the fuses and everthing is good.I have also checked every topic concering door locks and havent been able to find anything. I have a 96 civic ex. Is there a relay somewhere that would cause it to go out or is something else? Any help would be great

 

bump cuz i have the same problem, but its just with my passenger side door lock in my 99 ex. before it used to sometimes work.. then it went back to working fully, now it has just stopped (happened after i was jacking up my car to install lip, but i dont think that has anythin to do with it unless it shook somethin up..). only driver side works...

 

have you checked continuity on the power harness?? check to see if it has power going in

 

Yup, I've got the same problem on my pass. side door. I seems like it gets worse when it is wet or humid outside. I'm thinking the linkage needs to be greased or the solinoid is going out.

 

Its a possiblilty that its the switches on your door. Does one side work while the other doesnt? Give me more info on that. Switches go out all the time and some require that both switches be fully functional for the either side to work.

I had this problem in my car. I took the door panels off and checked the connections and one of the wires had become disconnected. You might wanna check that.

 

could also be the control box on the fritz.
