Persuade me to go turbo or na.
Alright people i can't decide if i want to go NA or turbo. I want na because of reliability and i can build up the car in pieces. But if i go turbo i can have mad hp, but it's at least 3Gs at once. I don't want to put done that much amount of money and then have to pay mad more money for little things. How much am i looking at after the 3 thousand initial investment besides dyno time.
Geez i'd have to replace my bolt ons. They're all useless. NA is looking like the way to go. Any ideas.

It's all about what you want out of the car. Do you want it to be a high power dragger/racer, or do you just want a bit more power? You'll be spending alot either way if you want to get power....
Um, hmm how much power?
If you are looking for just a little more power get some higher compression pistons and cams......1000 bucks later.
If you want more power than that, buy the turbo, deal with turbo lag and enjoy the top end.

Personaly I love the concept of all motor engines. However, lets say you have a 1.6 liter engine, to gain the most HP you would want to raise compression w/ new internals. Lets say you have a engine that is 2.0 liters or higher, you would be better off turbo'd.
I also like the NA route because you do not have to slap down $3000 at once. You can pick and choose different pieces and a lot can be installed yourself.
Same here I like ALL MOTOR too, you can do it in steps if you want instead of at once as in turbo. Also you don't have to worry about anyone seeing your intercooler in front of the car compared to a sleeper.

It's all based on what you want to do with the car. If you don't want to do regular maintenance to the car, then go NA. Either route you go, you will be fast. Personally I chose all motor because I LIKE ALL MOTOR. I just love the sound of my VTEC sounding off @ 5600 rpms. I also like having an all motor build-up and practically beating or keeping up with turbo-charged cars. The only real maintenance that you will be doing is your regular oil changes; nothing else. Just my opinion. If you have the money to go turbo and able to easily replace parts, I would probably try this route. Just don't forget to tune.
