new engine, old body. it never ceases to amaze me how tuners continue to work with the dc2R chassis, even though the dc5 is the current itr model. its a testament to the true nature of the beast, even though you have a different heart in there

Should be a blast watching the development. Can't wait for the final product and their review of it.

It happens all the time. If RJ doesn't have pictures, I am sure he'd be willing to provide first hand accounts.

That DC2R is going to be fast when it's done. That's a lot of money going under the hood.

about how it still amazes ppl that DC2's are still being re-built rather then goin to DC5's how many of you guys agree that the DC2's look the best? I mean c'mon the stylin of the DC2 was just so unique and I dunno IMO I think it will always look better than any DC5 with or without a body kit... and not to mention how awesome of a motor these things come with... I'll stick with my B-series over a K-series anyday

For sure. The lines of the DC2 are much cleaner. However, the DC5 is a damn fine-looking car, and takes to bodykits and the like much better than the DC2.

I'll agree here, too. I'd never put a K-motor in my car unless there were no more B18s left. Fast or not, it just doesn't seem right. I'm with Jack Harris on this one.

00 ITR, Stock motor (no bolt ons), brakes (carbotech pads) and suspension (except for Konis)

A K-series w/ the toda engine kit in a DC2R chassis would be quite nice.... hrm... expensive proposition though.
