B&M fuel pressure regulator
hi everyone
need some help on how to adjust my fuel pressure regulator.
I already bought the gauge that goes to the fuel pump
number on the gauge is range from 0 to 60
where should I set it?
I have only bolt on stuff I/H/E walbro 190
thank you in advance

Measure factory static pressure (w/the vacuum hose off) - and add like 3-5 lbs -- that's about right for intake & exhaust bolt-ons. The only way to really tell is to dyno it and that's not even perfect

Thats not true. There are some motors that are happier with a little less fuel pressure. You really dont know till you dyno it. Set it at stock fuel pressure settings.

Do a search. 44-46 psi is right for that setup. Dyno it to see exactly where it needs to be.

i had an injector fowl out and now i cant seem to get my fuel pressure right.. i have an aem fpr and str rail, walbro 255 and it seems to like to jump back to 60 at idle.. i have nooo clue but i gotta figure it out soon.
True, often leaning the motor out a tad will increase the performance... you really should dyno the motor, for an exact number. Leaving it at / close to factory would be best for now.

I should note that leaning can especially help if you have a higher flow fuel pump. Sometimes, higher flow fuel pumps can overwhelm the regulator, bumping up fuel pressure. This especially tends to happen if you get overzealous when upgrading your pump, like if you decide to get a Walbro 255LPH for your bone-stock B16A.
so the best way to know exactly is dyno my car?
do you guys know where a good dyno place is san diego or LA area?
FYI: I put the fuel pressure regulator on 38 psi
do you think is too low?
