Default 89 ef blown motor

blew the stock dx motor in a 88 ef/88 civic hatch. i have a dx motor that came out of a friends stock 92 dx motor out of the eg chassi. now what im trying to say is will everything go in the ef chassi by just swiching the cable tranny and wiring harness over to the 92 dx motor? any help will be appreciated.

you will have to convert to OBD1 but a boomslang harness will take care of that no problem. You will have to also convert your DPFI to MPFI since the EG motors use a fuel rail and 4 injectors.

if you want to just make the car stock again, you just have to swap over the intake manifold, dist, tranny, and harness. if u actually want to make it faster/better, convert to MPFI.
