Default Easiest way to chage oil filter on DA teg without a lift?

Anyone have some tips on how to change the oil filter without a lift?

you don't need a lift, just use a jack and jackstands. If you can't do that, I suppose you could remove or loosen your intake manifold and go in from the top, but there is no reason to go through that trouble - If you have no tools, jack, jackstand, etc just go to jiffy lube.

Get your hand under the intake manifold somehow, and turn. Good luck on not spilling oil.

if your gonna be under your car draining the oil out, you can just reach behind your block and take the filter out.

what i do is jack the front up really high and get under the middle of the car and un screw the oil filter, works everytime for me, if your scared get over it. Use jack stands on both sides for safetly including the jack holding the car up

Simple buy the oil filter relocator and put it right next to ur battery or abs ..

then go under
look for the header down pipe.
to the left of it is a big gap..You should see the intake mani there

stick ur hand up and feel it ..
the filter shuld be right there

He's not askin if how to take it off or how to locate the oil filter, hes askin if wuts the easiest way to take it off no lifting the car.

that will be diffuicut to do
unless he has extra extra extra long arms to go from the engine bay
or is really really really really skinny as a twig to go under with no jacks


i think he meant a lift as in thoese shops right?

jackstands/jacks are like 30 bucks nowadays
