its my gf's car, so i dont know if there is supposed to be one... she has a '00 gs. but if the headlights are left on and the keys are taken out, there isnt a beep like in my accord.

i found threads on adding a buzzer, but if she's supposed to have one, what can i check to fix it?

 

In my 2000 GSR there was a long beep that was emitted if I left my lights on with the key out. I would assume the GS has the same thing - if it's not working you could start with your fuses and make sure there are no electrical issues. Is everything else on the instrument panel working?

 

it should have the headlight chime.
