Default racing problems!!!

When i was racing at the strip i was having problems past 5000rpms. It wasnt getting to 7500. the rpms would get slower and it took forever for it to reach 7500 rpms. its a d-series vtec turboed. would it be a timing issue?

Well, it sounds like your vtec is not engaging. My friend has a NA gsr and he had trouble once with his vtec not engaging. Once the revs got past around 5000 grand the power just felt like it died off.

it sounds like you need to get your car tuned correctly.

Lean condition + boost = melted pistons or cracked ringlands.

Sounds like your bogging at 5k and up. Are you doing the VAFC hack thats around the net, that tells you to lean everything out? Man i did that and it fucked up my car so bad. Get it properly tuned.

correct. You are having fuel issues. I would not have even ran the car with a fuel problem.
