Default 2k idle only when cold

ok sorry guys its another idle question. i searched and found alot of similar posts but none had an answer. so heres my problem. when i start cold it idles at around 2k and drops to normal once warmed up. i tried takeing my fitv off and screwing in the white thingy but it didnt do **** and im not sure what it could be other than the fitv becuase thats the only thing that influences cold starts, right? also once in a while i will get a code 43 that is if i read it right but im pretty sure its 43. thast fuel supply in case your wondering. i head bubbles in my coolant could throw off my fitv, should i drain my coolant? what should i do? anyone who has experianced this or has any clue what it might be then let me know its really becoming a problem.
