02 wiring. 2 blacks 1 green.
I had my 02 wired great but during my auto-manual conversion the wires all came undone. my 02 has 2 black and 1 green wire (all solid).. anyone know the match's on the harness or pin location on the ecu for these wires? yes i have checked the write up's and my manual.. no such luck on the part of the O2
2 blacks should be the heater. There should be 10 to 40 ohms between those, with no continuity to ground.
Green would be the signal. It'll look like an open circuit unless the sensor is hot.

So then I guess you bought a 3-wire sensor to go on a car that needs a 4-wire sensor? You didn't say what year car...
There certainly is a particular wire for each one, except the 2 heater wires don't matter which is which. I believe the missing 4th wire is a signal ground.
Got a wiring drawing for your car? I don't know what colors are what exctept for the cars I own.

okay, here's the full story. the car is a 95 accord. the o2 has been there and working for well over a year. I had a how to for wiring which i used to complete the f22-h22a conversion originally. the car has been doing fine for the year. recently i decided to go manual because it was originally swapped auto. now i get under the car and see the wires i ran to the o2 since the o2 on the f22 is up front and the h22 is down below the engine. so i have 3 wires all the same color black running to my o2. this isnt an issue because i can see where they hook to on the harness. but...... on the harness. i have 4 wires ran.. 1 of which prob ends somewhere in the harness and is capped, since i didnt need it. so it has worked and worked great with the 3 wire o2 that was on there. it was originally part of the car and i just used it in the swap. basically its the f22 o2 not the prelude.. but.. it has and was working until i forgot to undo them and mark them when i yanked the motor. the wires came apart when i pulled my down pipe and forgot to unscrew the o2.
