Default LS VTEC SWAP PRICE

whats the typical price I should expect to pay if someone were to offer an LSVtec as a full swap. Im talking a B18B block,B16A Head, CTR pistons, STR cam Gears, Type R valve cover, GSR Cable Tranny, ACT heavy duty pressure plate w/ six puck disk. what would this setup go for?

i wouldnt do it. esp since its an LSVTEC, you dont know exactly how good/bad the guy did who put it together, if it isnt built right it wont last at all

Ya exactly...So put one together from scratch like me.

It's a big long and expensive list..but im slowly but surely knocking off the needed parts.

By spring time, can you say fully built turbo LSVTEC

well, the ls/vtec swap doesn't includ the ctr pistons, str cam gears, type r valve cover, and the clutch. so a more reasonable question would be regarding just the block/head and labor/extra parts.

lol. actuallly its MY swap . Im thinkin of sellin it to this dude but hes tryin to lowball me. im just tryin to get different views. I built it from scratch. and did all the boltons. 183whp/136ftlbs NO hondata,VAFC or nothin. lol. I told him $2500 as a buddy deal and he was like " can you go lower man, cmon" I looked at him crazy and told him to go find another deal like this. He WONT find a good runnin built LSVtec that will make 200whp with hondata and cams. know what im sayin? whats a good price to sell it for. Imbuilin another LSVTEC but with LOW compression.

NO its not that block aut0tek. I sold the block already and its runnin fine on my buddies setup, he bored it out to 84mm and the machine shop told him they had a hard time boring out the IRON SLEEVES, they kept lighting up the grinding stones.anyways back to what this thread is about. I dont have cams., I was saying that with Hondata and cams itll make at least 200whp at worst but im sure itll make more like 220whp.right now its untuned as it sits in my car, it gets rich after 6k (like 12:5) then by 8k its at 11:0 AF. I just have CTR pistons stock bore as far as internals go. I just have it breathing really well, 65mmTB, AEBS Manifold, Greddy 4-2-1, Test Pipe. let me know what you people think is a good price.I would be selling it as: head, block, tranny, ACT clutch,BRAND NEW dist, stock manifold and TB. I was thinking in the $3000-$3500 price range but give me some ideas . thanks

LMAO wait wait wait... So they bored it out to 84 mm??? Well you already advertised it as 84mm shown here: https://honda-tech.com/zero...age=1
So which one was it?
BTW, Nice job deleting all your posts... Got something to hide? HAHAHA.

And how did they "BORE IT OUT" if it were already at that bore? LMAO Yea, the only thing that block will ever light up is the rest of an engine when the sleeves break because some kid bought it when u told him they were Darton Pro Ductile 5000's (Spec B, JDM) When they're really just OEM replacement strength + block guard.

Oh, and BTW, a machine shop said they had a hard time boring out IRON sleeves, eh? lol. What "machine shop" was this? So I can make sure and never go there. Did they use an angle grinder?

Just keep digging yourself a hole man... GJ. Hope someone buys your stuff, and they comes back and monkeyfucks you later for being a liar.

Sleep well!

thats worth about $2000 worth out items... but if you can get a package deal you should get it anywhere between $1500-$1800 IMO

THAT'S where you're wrong (again... "NEWS FLASH" right?)

This one has EVERYTHING to do with the old one... You're trying to sell something but you've already scammed once you said it yourself. "I sold it to a guy who had it bored out" Meaning, you SOLD the block that you lied about... That means it's a scam... There is NO GREY AREA.

I keep up with scammers to make sure I don't get scammed again... And I dont like it when u try to sell my friends stuff and claim it's something else... THAT'S why I'm still keeping up. .. Besides, you act like word doesn't get around about idiots on H-T. lol.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Ch3mik &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">whats your deal man? I bought the block not knowing much about it. in the end it was 83mm</TD></TR></TABLE>

BULLSHIT yet again... Last thread you said that YOU MEASURED IT YOURSELF with a mic. and said it was 84mm and you even gave us the cyl. wall thickness that you "measured" lol.

You can't stand it can ya? Someone who keeps up with your scam?

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Ch3mik &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">you have no life bro, go elsewhere and harass someone else.</TD></TR></TABLE>
I'm not harassing ANYONE... I'm protecting others on H-T from being scammed, thank you. You are a habitual liar, and should never try to sell anything again.
I "have no life" eh? LOL need I remind you of our little talk... See, you do "safety calls" for digging/construction... Which is SOOOOO much better than my job, right? haha. Yep, I have "NO LIFE" being deployed, right?

Oh well... I've already fought this out with you, remember "safety bear" ? Your job's WAY cooler than Heavies Avionics.

haha, ok mr safety patrol. are you a mod anyways? I NEVER said i used a mic to measure it. anyways, this setup I might sell to a friend locally has nothing to do with a block that some shop built. I BUILT THIS MOTOR IN DEC 03 AND IT IS STILL RUNNING FINE IN MY CAR THAT I DRIVE EVERY DAY. can you please just quit messing with me? seriously. you proved your point, I shouldnt try and sell something im not 100% sure on. I took it OFF of here now what do you want me to do? go check my ebay feedback and see how i "Scam Everyone" . Ebay ID: Chemik! . there you go . anything else for you master? geez

You're just attracting more attention to yourself by lying like that... You need a reality check... What you're doing is WRONG and people here are setting the record straight, and you just keep going around trying to sell yourself as legit.

You're done. game over. (like... a month ago)

And who cares about your ebay account... people will buy anything on ebay... Hell I see "used underwear" on ebay, so what makes you think everyone on ebay would know the difference between Darton Ductile 84mm and OEM sleeves at 83mm with a block guard?

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Ch3mik &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">haha, ok mr safety patrol. </TD></TR></TABLE>

Funny how you still play the occupation game... Look at my avatar... What's on my face? Something you know nothing about, huh? I have used that very mask in deployed positions to help save your ***... I think SAFETY PATROL is more you're thing... After all, I AM the one that came up with the Safety Bear thing long ago after our SECOND "my job is better than yours" battle you started.
"The guy you call when u need to dig around power lines" sounds like a lot more "safety patrol" than C17 GAC, doesn't it?
...And to be honest, we have our own "safety patrol" They're called QA. So maybe you tell THEM your job is better... OH...OH... Nope. They wear the same **** to work that I, and tons of other people on H-T do.

FACE IT... YOUR OCCUPATION IS NOT, WAS NOT, AND WILL NEVER BE more important, "cooler", or better in any way...

DROP THE ******* JOB THING ALREADY... YOU LOSE.

hahaha. youre the one going on about the job position. YES YOUR JOB IS WAY BETTER THAN MINE, YES YOU ARE THE ONE OUT THERE FIGHTING SO I CAN LIVE IN A FREE COUNTRY WHAT ELSE DO YOU WANT ME TO SAY, I KNOW THOSE THINGS, YOU WERE THE ONE TRYING TO INSULT ME BY SAYING I DONT KNOW WHAT AN AFB IS, REMEMBER? WHEN DID I SAY MY JOB WAS ANY FREAKING BETTER WHEN I KNEW YOU WERE FREAKING MILITARY. I HAVE A LOT OF CLOSE FRIENDS IN THE MILITARY THAT ARE OR HAVE SERVED AND DIED FOR THIS COUNTRY SO DONT PREACH TO ME ABOUT NOT KNOWING ANYTHING ABOUT THAT. anyways. like I said earlier if you would READ. this is MY motor that is going to be for sale to MY FRIEND. im not selling it to anyone here , I just wanted to ask some people what they feel would be a going price and then you go on about a block from a MONTH AGO like you said yourself. this is not the other motor youre still going on about. why are you in here seriously. THIS IS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT MOTOR CAN YOU READ? its old. seriously chill man, quit hijacking my thread. youre just being a jerk now. can we get back to the subject?

Yes... Completely different motor... Same scammer.

And no, I did NOT bring up the job thing... YOU did... And no, you didn't know what an AFB was, remember you said: "I talk to AFBs all the time" AFBs talk??? Well what did mine say? Was it a girl or a guy? moron.

...Once again, you've contradicted yourself... Just like it's an 84mm block with 83mm pistons in it and it "runs great since Dec 03" lmao

you still havent answered my question people. how can you get a b18b block to 84mm on the STOCK sleeves and keep the thickness the same. as far as the pic that was posted on the GE block. I WAS NEVER COMPARING MINE TO A DARTON OR A GE OR ANY OF THOSE. GET THAT THROUGH YOUR HEAD PEOPLE! the cylinder walls on this block are the EXACT SAME THICKNESS AS THE WALLS IN MY LSVTEC AND THE 2 LS BLOCKS I SOLD. how much clearer can I be? of course theyre not as thick as a GE sleeved block. I didnt say hey " these sleeves are HIGH PERFORMANCE! THEY CAN HANDLE 600HP!! BOOST AND SPRAY AWAY 24/7" I said they have been resleeved. how can you keep the same thickness and go 84mm without puttin in new sleeves? At worst its the same identical sleeve as a stock sleeve so why would it be of any less quality than the sleeves in my 81mm stock bottom end? arent half of the guys on here runnnin stock bottom ends on high boost makin great #s ? as far as the kind that they are I DONT KNOW. I bought this from some dude who didnt even know what kind of rods were in it. the kind that has mommy and daddy buy him stuff, he didnt even know it was bored out til I measured the pistons about 3 weeks ago. anyways. i want you guys to find me a B18b with stock sleeves, forged rods, forged pistons, balanced crank , oil pan, oil & water pump, FULLY assembled with about 3k on it for $1000. find that for me. can someone that knows all about this stuff post something relevant about all this. this thread is going nowhere</TD></TR></TABLE>
