Does anybody know the dimensions of a del sol trunk?
Or if a snowboard will fit in there....
Thanks!

come on now. snowboard won't fit, unless it's made for a little kid.

HOWEVER, i throw skis in my sol all the time. i put the back window down and lay them from the passenger floorboard through the rear window. its works just fine, and even w/ a passenger if its not too long of a trip. snowboard would be a little bulkier though. g-luck.

Well, I'm half looking to buy a sol. I guess I'll have to bring my board to the test drive cuz there is no way I'm buying a car that can't fit a board or two.

fit it in the passenger seat.

imo a del sol wouldn't be such a great car to take snowboarding.

exactly, take your roof off...put some kind of padding on the rear part of the roof bar and lay the snowboard on top of that. or you could lay the seat down as far as you can, roll down the rear window, and let the tip of the board in that area.

i got two plastic adirondack lawn chairs and a table to go with them into the trunk of my sol. just gotta be creative when loading stuff. i had to hold the trunk down with my jumper cables. but, yea a snowboard should fit in the passenger seat if you roll down the back window, just might have to crank the heat up!

If all else fails, you can just put it in your passenger seat and roll down the back window! I read in some online manual that the Sol trunk is 2 cubic feet smaller than the civic trunk. BTW I love my Sol... Cruising with the top off durring good weather is the ****. Don't listen to all those del sol haters out there... they're just jealous cause they cant take the top off their car and fit it in their trunk! If the one you are looking at is in good condition, you should buy it!

Agreed. I did it twice. I flattened my passenger seat as much as possible and stuck the snowboard as far down under the dash and seatbelted it in. Mine fit w/o having the back windown rolled down. longer boards wont work.

Good Luck!

A snowboard will fit in the Sol on the passenger side... my ex gf did it all the time with her Sol.

My board doesn't fit, however it fits fine up front, but the girl friend was a little pissed about having the metal blade 2" from her neck while driving... So we had to take her car.
