Default Im considering buying a 98 civic ex - little advice?

Heres what i have my eye on:
1998 Honda Civic EX Coup
66000 miles
Stock everything (not for long!)
'Wheels' (Those pretty ugly 3 prong ones)
5 speed manual
No cd player (Also, not for long)
power everything, sun roof
Dark green
$8300

As far as i can tell everything is in good working order, the car is kinda messy, but if i buy it it will be back in ship-shape condition very soon.

Anything i should look for when driving it around? Is it worth its asking price?
Thanks for any comments!

Im looking forward to having a good time while here!

Check http://www.kbb.com or http://www.edmunds.com for a fair price. That seems a little high for that year. Especiallly if its not from a dealer.

Yah, the seller is actually a teacher at my high school! Hes selling because he has 2 small kids, needs more room.
The blue book on it is around $9500, so i consider his asking price fair.
I wonder if i could get him to keep the 3 spoke rims and give me stock what ever and take off 100-200$... ugh
Take a look: http://jpowell.tripod.com/saab...o.jpg

It has a large crack accross the windshield, but he would replace it if i buy.
