I don't think many people are into this hobby for gas mileage.

So everyone that has a B/H series swap into their 92-00 Civic should have turbocharged or supercharged the D that was there?

I don't know anybody who's personally done it, but I know a lot of people thinking about it.
There's also that Honda-Malaysia team that won that race recently w/a Civic sedan.

Thank you very much.
Honestly when I bought my first engine, it wasn't nearly the price I see them go for these days. HAP Recycling, Foster Auto Parts, and Ebay are all great places to deal with as long as you're not in a hurry. I'm sure it will all work out for you!

So k20whitevic who did the swap?
My homie which owns the car above, had his car sitting at a local tuner Honda only shop called Kiwi Motors for 8 months!!! It was so whack, my homie bought the Hasport wiring harness or something, they installed it and it blew my homie's ECU

WOW, eight months is a long time to do this swap these days. Myself and my girlfriends father did my swap the first time around using a K20A2. We started the swap in on the first weekend of November 2002, and finished Feburary 2003. We did the swap using OEM RSX-S motor mounts, which go right into the engine bay. We drilled out the D17A2 mounts, and welded in the K20A2 mounts. The two engine bays are almost identical, and those mounts are pretty much idiot proof. As far as the wiring goes, we used the RSX and Civic electrical Helms manuals. It took us two entire months to document everything, along with actually doing it. We tried starting it ourselves but were unsuccessful using the PRB ecu, and we had the key on the dash flashing, so we tried starting it using the Civic ECU, and guess what, it start! So after a weekend of detective work using the two manuals, we figured out it was the immobilizer. After this we tried wiring up the two ECU's in conjunction with each other, and the car wouldn't start! ARGH! So after calling Hasport to ask them what they did, they ended up giving us the phone number to an Acura dealership that told us, because of they Mugen ECU they were running, they didn't have to reflash anything...that was of no help. So we made an appointment at Honda to see what they could do/tell us. First time I took it to Honda to get my key/immobilizer reflashed, the car wouldn't get any spark. Turns out, Honda switched immobilizer units in 2002 on the Civic, which are the exact same as the ones in an RSX. So switched immobilizer units, had Honda reflash everything, and it started! Talk about a relief! After all of the effort we had put into it, it was so nice to be able to drive it. Two weeks later, then drove the car to Florida.
Second time around, it took a week, once we started, using a K20A.
That's my story in a nutshell.

Good luck getting that header to fit.
You may want to talk to SMSP about doing a k24 header for you. I already talked to him a few months ago and he said they would have something for a k24 in a dc5 eventually
