Default Eratic Tach!

Hey,

I own a '93 Integra with a B16A, ITR cams and intake manifold. My tach after warm-up goes from 900 to 1500 and back again every few seconds at idle. Is there something I need to connect or is missing that I forgot about? I appreciate your help with this.

Thank you

Does the engine actually rev up and down from 900 to 1500 rpms or is the tach just acting eratic. Because, I had the same problem with my tach becoming eratic along with problems starting the car when it's cold. It might be you iginitor going bad, if not you might have to just adjust your idlke screw to fix the problem.

double check you're ignitor, or maybe just check all the wires in the dizzy. my CRX had a similar problem.
