Ok, that first one was wrong, i had it backwards.
Looking at it from the front it's... (I checked in my car and this is what it had)
2 1
4 3 (Distributor)
1 2 3 4 (valve cover)
What kind of angle would you be looking at it to have this one?
3 4
1 2
Haha, I know it's an old post but the order was bugging me.

From the passenger-side fender.
The distributor rotor always points to the bottom-left when the motor is at TDC #1 compression stroke (when the spark plug fires) and then it transitions into the power stroke.

because on the valve cover, the cylinders are numbered 4 3 2 1. cyl 1 is at the front, closest to the valve cover. your order is right, you just had the cylinders numbered backwards.
