Mine's a water to air intercooler under the hood... we made brackets to use stock mounting holes for the battery tray and airbox...

here's an explanatory pic...

whats the diffrance between the a/a ic and the a/w ic? i know one uses water to cool down and the other uses air like a radiator, but are there any benifits to using a air/liquid i/c over a air/air ic? or is it all the same? and what turbo and manafold are you using? do you have any clearance problems w/ you turbo, wastegate and radiator, i've read that the z10 radus bars give you the option of running the eg radiator so wouldnt that free up some clearance? thanks

I'm using a stock radiator, F-Max manifold, t4/3 hybrid turbo, and we had to notch the webbing on the block to make it all fit.

It's REALLY tight, but it works.

Z-10's are on my wishlist, and I hope to have em by February... Before the track's open so I can tune em a good bit...

W/A intercoolers are a good bit more efficient than same size a/a intercoolers. That's why I went with one, not to mention, I wanted a sleeper

I had to ditch my stock bumper support and fab up a little mounting bracket for my IC. I also have the ww kit, but I had to cut it out for optimal cooling capabilities. Here are some pics.

Mine is bolted to either side of where the A/C condensor used to be. The guy who did it fabbed some brackets and welded them on.

how much power are you putting down? just curious to know if the size intercooler you are using can handle high boost duties?
