Default CRX DX question (TRIVIA, test your CRX knowledge!)

was the CRX DX (1.5L DPFI) ever actually labelled "DX" on the rear, if so which years?

I have a 90 DX CRX and to the best of my knwledge it never came w/ a rear DX tax. It may have been removed before I got it, but I don't think so.

I think only HF's and SI's came with em.

No, they never did. Thats only the civic hb that came with them. I have seen 1 crx a few years back that put a dx sticker on the rear of a highly modded JDM style rex... thats the only one ive seen.

in Canada,, there's a CRX and a CRX Si.. no HF or equivelent.

no never came w/ the dx emblem ... dx was the standard trim... some place only called it civic/crx standard... only way to really know that it was a dx was the dpfi

i've seen the CRX dx model also called the "CRX Base" i'll check my brochure when i get home to see what it says.

I think people just started calling it a DX because it had the same engine/options as the civic DX.....its really just called the CRX.....

Actually Honda does refer to the base model as the DX..
When I first got my car,
I called the dealership to inquire about what model I had..
They said based on the VIN number that it was a DX model..

The 1988 CRX factory service manual references it as a DX model also:

anyway.....i think if you wanted to put "dx" on it, you could. But from factory...nope on a crx.

No the second gen CRX has sheet metal fenders/
