Hybrid Owners!!! What exhaust system did you get for your swap???
I have an EK hatch. I will be doing a '98 spec ITR motor swap soon. Just wondering what exhaust systems will bolt up without modifications after doing this swap.
I am using a JDM ITR header with a Spoon testpipe until I get a carsound cat that fits.
I just don't know what exhausts will fit since most EK hatch exhaust systems are for D series motors.
TIA

spoon test pipe wont work on usdm exhaust mang. i am using stock si b-pipe with my dx muff until i find the exhaust i want. it gives you enough room for the cat perfect. the only way you can use your spoon test pipe is to lengthen it or run some jdm spec exhaust because the usdm cats are longer than jdm.
95 dx hatch with GSR. Im running custom. Have no cat. Its pretty raspy. Very loud. Feels stout but hate the sound. Hope more people reply to give me more options.
'88 Honda CRX with B16A currently, testpiped with Tanabe Racing Medallion I believe, not the larger "Hyper" one. Sounds very good. I'm getting a B20 and will probably go with the JG header and the test pipe, or just their racing b-pipe alone

Big Carbon, I know what you mean; I had a 2.25" pipe welded on and since my cat was removed it sounds raspy like you said. I had the muffler shop install a Camaro-style muffler and "dual" exhausts and am satisfied with the look and performance. I plan to get a replacement cat soon.
