I Plan On Droppin A LS Motor Into My CRX. & Later On Im Havin It Rebuilt & Ready For Turbo. What Would Be The Best Way To Rebuild It To Help Score 13's or Maybe 12's On The 1/4 Mile?

13's and high 12's can be had on a stock bottom end LS.

very very true. buiild the bottom end (pistons, rods, sleeve the block) and the possibilities are endless. it all depends on the money you have to spend.

pick up a sir or gsr tranny if you can with the ls block. its a hugeeeee differnece for n/a and is still a good tranny for turbo.

Since it's going into a CRX, I'd look for an S1, Y1, or J1 tranny [all cable trannys].

stock ls block , ls tranny, a few minor bolt ons, and a direct port nitours kit and you can see 12's at a minium of expense.

Well if we add nitrous into the equation then you need to add in the cost of tuning.

When i was boosted i know i woulda ran a low 13. And i was only running 5.5-6psi. If youre just looking for those times id say stay with a stock block and use the money to buy QUALITY parts...people dont seem to understand how important that really is to having a reliable boosted honda. Also make sure and buy a good ems...if you dont wanna spend tons of money id say go hondata. But if you have the money to spend id get FAST, Motech, speedpro or something like that. Before you decide what ems to use id contact the best tuner in the area and see what hed prefer to tune. Good luck dude

BTW-the best advice i can give you is stay FAR FAR AWAY from the SMC...that bitch is the reason im not boosted anymore

Like i said...i would leave the engine stock. But personally id freshen it up a little...like water pump, oil pump, all new seals and gaskets. I did this just to be safe. Just spend the money on good parts and alot of tuning.
