What ecu's can I use
As I said in my other post, I recently did an automatic to manual transmission swap and i need too swap out the ecu so no more trouble codes will be sent since i no longer have an automatic. I have a civic ex 99 sohc v-tec. So will any p2p (96-00) ecu's work just fine and are there any differences between the years? thanx
so long as it's an obdII.
you could even use an ECU out of an HX, but your car will no likey.
i ran a vx ecu on my d16z6 on my old hatch for about 2 weeks, it was horrible. horrible i tell you.

i know im thread horing or whatever...but check out my sig. get a p2p
if it were before 96 , you could just take off a jumper, add a few resistors...and you have a manual/automatic ECU...but not on obd2. good luck ...
