2 questions 1. body 2. axel shake and gsr swap info for ek if anyone cares....
Hey need some help!
1. I just did a gsr swap into a 96 ek 4dr well it goes a lot better and im fairly impresed with the investment, but now i have to do something about the body of the car. newayz i found a post on a canadian website there is a guy selling a front end from a 2000 si(r) for $700(can) just want to know if its worth it or not it includes fenders, bumper, lights, grill, and lip the only bonus is that its in my colour.
i inquired about if it will fit from a body shop they said that as long as it is the whole front end it should be no prob. if anyone knows other wise please reply to the post
2. I bought the 98 b18c1 used from a guy that rebuilds cars the driver side axel is not from the gsr i dont know what its form but it looks the same as the gsr. I couldnt use the gsr one cuz it was torn up do to the hit. at acceleration im gettin a nasty shake anyone know what it is do to??? if so help a bro out
about the swap if anyone cares i did it myself with a friend with the help of the posts on this website swap was easy total of 2 days but to getin it runnin correct about 3 weeks I still get a code 91 and the ELD code cuz car is canadain does not have eld and the ecu is lookin for it. The only other thing that was a pain in the *** was the power steering had to modify it, oh last but not least didnt get the 99si driverside mount that i was suppose to so i had to drill existing one to fit with the gsr mount and use washers but used the si rear mount
