Default Wicked oil leak, could this be the problem?

I've got an LS/VTEC motor in my crx and all of a sudden it starts leaking a shatload of oil. So I jack it up quick and it appears the 4-1 header mounted on the car is making A LOT of contact with the oil pan. Could the header (combined with all the vibration and such) cause a hole to form in the oil pan? My header is seriously soaked in the stuff, and I can't spot any other problem areas. I guess I'll pull the header off tomorrow and check, just wondering if this sounds logical to you guys?

did you locate the source of the leak? don't just assume it's coming from someplace and start tearing apart.

Follow the oil up to the place it's coming out of the engine.
It should be fairly easy to trace... it's the black wet stuff.

How long has the motor been in the car? If it was just put in recently check all around your headgasket....this is a common place for ls/vtecs to leak from when built improperly. Otherwise trace the leak.

I would also check to see if the leak is around the gasket. Excessive vibration and contact could cause these problems. I had the muffler shop weld a bracket to my headers to attach to the stock Honda downpipe support on the back side of the engine. Had it done when they did the exhaust system and only cost a few dollars extra.

I looked around and couldn't find oil anywhere else. The only other part covered in oil is the drain plug, which could just be from the pan if it is leaking.

The car has been sitting for about 2 weaks now, so I'm pretty sure the oil is not coming from between the block/head because that just wouldn't make sense. Most of the oil is sitting in the oil pan, so it's got to be the oil pan gasket, drain plug, oil pan itself, or filter...correct?
