I am getting sick and tired of the back half of my exhaust squeeking and rattling. Anyone else have this problem? I have already ditched the bolts that came with it for some bolts w/o springs on them to hold it tighter.....but it still squeeks. Any other ideas anyone?

 

my rattle sounds like it is coming from the front

i need to get under my car while it is running to see if i can locate that weird sound

 

If it's rattling, you could be missing an exhaust gasket...just ask Chris

 

No strange sounds from mine. Have you looked the whole thing over?

 

No I haven't checked it lately...I have just turned the radio louder. My rack hasn't been free for a while so I haven't had a chance to look...but it's coming out of the back, same as last time.

 

I also have no problems from mine...

 

The one on my Civic has been no problem at all.

 

My old rear section rubbed on the bumper, that made a weird sound... Bob at comptech too care of the problem and gave me a credit towards a cat back. No problems with the new one... it ROCKS!

no problems with mine either,,,,or any of our customers. Check clearance on all your heat shields, lube the hangers, etc.. If it still doesn't go away, it's probably not the exhaust making the noise. Swaybar bushings maybe?
